Modding Gamecube games and....
I wanted to know if theres a way to mod Gamecube games like we can with halo PC. Also, I'd like to know if theres a way to take the model of Samus, dark Samus, Galatic Federation (GF) soldiers, and the GF Ship that they come with and put those into Halo PC. Probably not, but if I don't have to make them from scratch that'd be nice, and save a lot of time. ^^"
Summary:
- Is there a way to mod Gamecube games? Specificly Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
- Can I extract the models and projectiles from metroid prime and put them into halo PC?
Also I didn't know where to put this, so I put it here. ^^"

theres probobly a way to extract, just Google it. as for the injecting into Halo PC, youd 1st have to put the into Halo CE then rip and put into Halo PC, but im ns if thats illegal or not, because i tihnk u use an emulator of a gamecube and then extract the model from the game ur emulating, but meh i may be completely wrong. (and emularing is illegal because your changing the file format of the gamecube game. so dont try my thoughts.

Sorry to spoil the fun of thoughts, but, that would be illegal; as Metroid Prime models, projectiles, bsp's, textures, etc. Are all under the ownership of the company who designed them, so extracting them and putting them into Halo PC would be illegal.Keeshu wrote: - Can I extract the models and projectiles from metroid prime and put them into halo PC?

Anyways, isn't it only illegal when you sell it?
It isn't illegal to re-create it, that's perfectly fine.
And no, if you just claim it being yours it's illegal, and no it wouldn't work if you gave the game creators credit, because you just can't use thier content; it wasn't meant for being ripped and put into other games or just being claimed as some other persons model.

People who make clones of other crap use stuff they've created themselves, thats what you would want to do if you want to make a Samus biped.
Why do so many people come here asking how to mod other crap. We're halo mods not nerds united in modding games.
