*BIRTHDAY* Money Choices

Vote time!

I have $100, and I have 4 ways that I want to spend it... I just can't decide which... help me choose.
  • Pre-Order Halo Wars LCE, and buy 1,600 MSP.
  • Buy a 5,000 MSP card and a 1,600 MSP card.
  • Buy a game (specify), and 1,600 MSP.
  • Buy a 60GB HDD, and 1,600 MSP.
Now, these choices all have reasoning behind them. If I got the 1st Choice, I would be able to get the Mythic Map Pack early, along with the points to buy it. If I chose the 2nd option, I would be able to buy the Mythic Map Pack later, games off the Xbox Live Marketplace and buy Game-Addons. (I use MSP extremely fast... way too fast.) If I chose the 3rd option, I would be able to get another game of my choice (I already bought NFS: Undercover), along with enough points to get the MMP. Lastly, if I chose the 4th option, I'd have a HDD 3 times the size of the one I have now allowing me to store games on my HDD and download more content to my HDD, along with enough points to buy the MMP. I'm thinking the 4th one would be the best bet, but I'm not too sure yet.
Also, no matter which of these I choose, I will be giving the rest to my Dad... so please help me choose wisely!

Pre order Halo Wars. I thought it was pretty fun, plus Mythic Map Pack.

what I'm doing is pre-ordering halowars and then selling the mythic map pack for "X" MS points then finally buying the COD4 map pack, which I should have done a million years ago

You're probably the only person I have a chance of this happening with.
If you get Halo Wars LE and mail me the Spirit of Fire patch that comes with it, I'll like...send you back a couple bucks. plz

Save your money and spend on something better than a video game.

In the immortal words of the Lionel Coin Bank commercial.

Save your money. Save your money.

Spirit of Fire? What is that?

It's the UNSC ship in the game. It's a patch that you can iron on to a jacket.

But yes...saving the money is probably better. A game won't last as long as money when you start saving a bunch of it.

Invest it in the stock market or in a mutual fund.

Sounds like you wanna spend it for the sake of it. If you actually wanted any of those things, you wouldn't need to ask us for advice. Just save your money.

A flash in the pan video game is far from wise.

Then maybe you should get a job so you can get a car so you can be a 17 year old with a job and car. Use the money to get started on the Driving process. Spend some of that money for video games on a driving school. Take drivers Ed at your High School. Make steps to become progressive, not just blow some change on a quick fix that'll die off in a few months. Video Games are great, but that same money can be used for something greater and more beneficial.

It's never too late to change funds from one thing from another. The money i was using to make my PC current Gen I put back into the bank to pay for classes and car repairs. Sure, I play GTA IV at about 15 frames a second now on low at lowest possible resolutions, but Classes and car repairs go towards a larger picture.

Well, my license is still suspended and my parents are going to pay for Driver's Ed AND I'm getting my Mom's old car with a brand new engine put in by my grandfather who works at General Motors. So, I probably won't have a job until I have a license and a car which could be anywhere from next month to October 22nd... so rather than sit around and do nothing with it, I'd like to do something with it. Plus, this is birthday money... I didn't do anything to earn it, it's money my Mom gave me to blow on something I wanted. :/
