As you all know, with today being February 1st it marks the kickoff of Puppy Bowl V!

There is a fantastic starting line-up for 2009; With Moose¹, the Australian Shepherd Mix being the obvious fan favourite, how will the dynamic duo of Bichon Frise hold up to this unwavering onslaught of detrimental reception?
We'll see this afternoon.
As began last year, Puppy Bowl V will be broadcasted in High Definition for maximum viewing pleasure.
To continue tradition, GTAF and I will attempt to offer our play-by-play commentary as we did last year for those of you without accessibility to this momentous occasion.

So go out and buy that HDTV you've always wanted and bring out the beer-
The bloodshed begins at 3pm e/p.

Oh man, and the kick is good. Looks like this is shaping up to be one hell of a Puppy Bowl. They're showing off a truly classic moment from Puppy Bowl III right now.

Doesn't that jerk know lots of kids, puppies, and kittens watch this? What an ass.

The halftime show was amazing. My cat enjoyed it, I think I saw a poor kitten get it's ear bit off though! How horrible.

Yeah, but I think it was great that the players were so quick to try to contain the hideous streaker, and at least they were able to censor it.

The half time show was nothing short of spectacular.

I was surprised and outraged.

Besides the occasional bites and scruffs, this years game was great. I thoroughly enjoyed the half time show.
Now all there is to do is anticipate next year's game.
