Those of you that watch it... what did you think of the first two hours of Day 7?
I thought it got off to a good start, I can't wait to see the next episode. I can't help but feel some of the characters are based off of older ones, e.g. the ugly betty character who is basically a new Chloe.

I don't know if you've seen the 3rd and 4th episode since posting, so I won't spoil anything, but I'm pretty excited for this season. I just can't get enough of Jack Bauer kicking ass!

I've never once watched the show. I know it's good and all that but what I don't get is... basically this is like the craziest fucking week ever where everyone is in danger all the time and one man kicking everyone else's ass nonstop daily?

Each series is shown in 'real-time' however the days aren't consecutive. There's around a year or more between each series.
This series is set about 18 months after day six, and a few months after the events of 24: Redemption.
GTAVC, Yes I've seen episodes 3 and 4. I'm going to watch the ones that have been broadcast in the U.S. seeing as when I go back to Uni, I won't have TV.
Episode 3 was awesome. Probably one of the best 24's I've seen.

I have episodes 1-4 recorded, but haven't watched them yet. I hope I enjoy them as much as you guys seem to.

Major 24 fan here, waiting for episode six to broadcast.
Interesting season so far, and I agree that some characters appear to be replacements of the old ones. Favourite season so far? For me, I think it's the original, season one. But every season's been fantastic.
