Blackberry

My upgrade for my phone is December 30th, and I'm not sure as to whether I should go ahead and get the Blackberry 'storm' or wait and get the new 'Curve' that's going to be released soon?
I'm Verizon.

I heard that the Storm isn't a good phone. (G4 reviewed it.) I would wait until the Curve.

Fuck G4. The Storm is great. The IT kids at my dad's office all pitched in and had their 8830s turned in and got storms and they love them.

I have tried the storm at the verizon store and honestly, it's very slow and the keyboard is harder to type with then the iPhones. It lacks the jailbreak that an iPhone has and lacks a lot of programs that you can get for free with AppStore.
It's almost phail, but the click feature is sorta innovative. Honestly it could have come out much better.

Well, 7/10 reviews are mostly bad about the Storm. It just doesn't look good for it. Although, I've heard so many good things about the new curve, including an improved keypad, that I think I'll wait on it.

My friend has a Storm and it's really nice. The Curve isn't going to be that great.

I played around with a buddy's Storm and it seemed to be a pretty good phone. The speaker on it is amazing though.

My dad has Verizon and they let him test a phone for a week when he was eligible for an upgrade.

For him it was between the Pearl and the Curve. He chose the Curve.

Plus DrXThirst is on Verizon. They don't have a G1 for Verizon.
