HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

So I just got back from the midnight showing and I will admit that I enjoyed the movie. It was nice, had it's ups and downs. Overall though, i'm glad it was created and would enjoy watching it again.

Now, i'm NOT going to compare it to the book like other's usually do. I don't think it would fair to do so. And don't jump on my case about it, i'm not here to argue about it.

So tell me your thoughts on it. What could have been done better, what you enjoyed about the film, how did the actors do, how Elizabeth Reaser's make-up was horribly done...etc.

My whole school can't get enough out of it. I just don't understand the whole craze over it.

I just can't stand the book or the movie. It rapes the word "Vampire." Those aren't vampires; they're lies.

My older brother went to the midnight premiere, but I haven't talked to him about it yet. Honestly it looks like crap to me, the book and the movie.

I concur, they are just like cake.

To me, and this is just an uninformed decision, it looks like a piece of post-adolescent-but-let's-try-to-make-it-look-that-way crap. Anybody else know what on earth I'm trying to say?

lol, talking about marketing, i only heard about it yesterday. not really impressed from what I've heard about it

This is the talk of my school right now. I was told to read the first book, so I started.

It's one of the worst books I've ever read. I got 4 chapters in, and wanted to kill myself. It's basically a very emotionally challenged vampire who is falling in love with an emotionally challenged girl? I couldn't quite understand because the writing was so bad, and the go into detail about stupid shit no one cares about.

The movie looks like crap.

I honestly didn't even hear about the movie. But a friend of mine, who works at a movie theater and is a HUGE movie buff, was pretty pissed that he has to wear a Twilight shirt at work tonight.
