Hey everyone. My Xbox 360 recently died (overheating issues) so I have to send it back in for repairs. When I get it back, I plan on selling it for the spending money or possibly to buy a Slim PSP. Anyways, I'll be selling the following:
--Xbox 360 console + component A/V + power unit + 20gb Hdd (great shape, I'm very meticulous with my electronics)
--Wireless controller w/ charger and rechargeable battery
--Wired crappy gamestop controller
--Games
---Forza Motorsport 2
---Marvel Ultimate Alliance
---GTA IV
---Halo 3 special edition (the one w/ tin case/bonus disc...)
School is coming back and I can't be distracted too much by video games. I was pretty much addicted to Halo 3 and you could see it in my grades. I'd rather get a PSP which I could use as a music player and bring along to school. I do already have a PSP, but it's a classic/fat that is worn out and has a few problems. I hacked it out so hacking the Slim PSP I would get would be easy, plus I already have like 30 PSP games ready for it.
I'll be getting my halo addiction filled through my modded original xbox
Anyways, what would be a fair asking price for my Xbox from a pawnshop or a local gamestop or something?

aha!
heres a question: knowing that EB games (Canada) and Gamestop (US) are owned by the same company, but still are different in a different sense, what would the selling price be in canada?

Thank you very much for the info, church
That comes out to about 220 dollars, which is enough but I expected more. But it is enough for what I'm planning.
thx again
Also, church, how much do fat PSP's sell for?

Fat PSP's are better, IMO, they are more durable, and if you get one on 3.50 or less, you can downgrade them easy, without the pandora battery.

i've got a PSP that dates back to when they came out... it still works as well/better than a slim!

The slim is better by far, I used to be highly into the psp scene and i still check on it here and there. The slim has video out and more Memory which allows it to do far more than the phat. A dreamcast emulator is currently in the works and POC has already been shown. However this will only ever run on a slim due to phat's lack of memory.
Btw when I say memory, I am referring to RAM.

and memory cards sell too as long as they are over 1 gig we dont take 256 or 32mb
as for price conversions i don't know what the conversion rate is for usd to Canadian currency but the prices are pretty solid for the week

You can just use Dark Alex's new updater and you don't have to even downgrade anymore i just upgraded using the newest 4.0 M33-3 from 3.5

Should be able to get like $5000 for it. Considering some people are retarded enough to pay almost $2000 for a PSP, and $1000 for an iPhone app that doesn't do anything.

I'd try selling the xbox on ebay. You can get a good amount of money for it on there. Just try to sell it for a little less than the least expensive one.

Well I'm happy as long as I end up with 1 less Xbox 360 and 1 more Slim PSP, so I'll probly end up selling it to gamestop or something for that 10% extra. I dont mind the 20 or so more bucks I could be getting for it if i sold online. I won't have a need for my old phat PSP, so that will probly go too.
Does gamestop care if PSPs have custom firmwares? If so, I'll just downgrade it back to 1.50 before the sale.
To anyone interested, I keep up with the PSP scene and can help with any PSP hacking. I've hacked almost 20 PSPs now. I'm a regular at
PSP-Hacks.com, so if you got any ?'s, hit me up
