Michael Jackson

Post by DeadHamster »

First and foremost, thanks to Tural for unlocking this, and I apologize for any problems I may have caused.

Recently, Michael Jackson has moved into my neighborhood. He has bought a house nearby, has been spotted in a local grocery store and has, so I've heard, applied for a permit to install a Ferris Wheel on his property, apparently for the start to a "Neverland Ranch 2".

How would you react to someone like Michael Jackson moving into your neighborhood?
Have you ever had somebody very famous live nearby you?
What do you think about him creating something like a "Neverland Ranch 2"?

Feel free to discuss anything else pertaining to this, but please, do not spam this topic with any jokes or cracks at michael. Thank you in advance.

Knowing my luck, there aren't going to be any replies.

I would vandalize his house!
Seriously, wtf though?
I've never had a celebrity live near me.

Haha. My cousin's friends went around there, saw cameras everywhere, and then they started being followed by a black van.

I would respect his privacy, and would not resort to violence for absolutely no reason. Respect the guy. HE MADE THRILLER. Don't vandalize his house, or do something so incredibly stupid like the immature fools would do above this post. As long as he does not do any illegal activities and abides by the law, there should be no problem. I never really lived close to a famous person, I guess the most famous people I lived by was a band member of Sublime, and a kid down the street is doing fairly well in the NCAA and is bound to do great things in the NFL.

I'm seriously going to watch this topic. this is bound to make a hard left into stupid.

I would hire a chorus group to repeatedly chant "I don't believe in fairies" over and over again in front of his house.

I never planned on doing anything malicious to him, I respect the man very much for putting up with all of the bullshit people give him.

If I happen to see any posts here that I believe aren't on par with standards, I'll be sure to report them immediatly to try to keep down the ammount of, as you put it, 'stupid' that's sure to come. I just didn't feel any actual discussion on it should be stiffled because of the possible actions of some people.

i wouldn't want to go bother the guy, although it would be strange to see him at kroger or something.

you should prepare now for the paparazzi flood. i'm sure they'd make good targets.

I hate the paparazzi. Makes me angry. I never really see why famous people need to be monitored at everything they do.

But it actually wouldn't be so bad. I live in a very quiet town, almost nothing goes on here. Boring as hell, having some famous person right down the road might liven things up a bit.

I think that's why it was locked earlier.

Anyways... that's cool I guess. I know that Tedy Bruschi (football player) went to high school in my city. I think their was an old 49ers' player that lives here too...

You'll get used to seeing him around, he's just a normal person, except slightly more well known.

Hmm, the only famous person who live/lived near me is Eddie Murphy, but other notable people also live in my town.
