Social Vibe
Social Vibe
Social Vibe is a great web site where you can actually make a difference with out paying one penny.
It's simple, you sign up, choose a cause (there are lots
ranging from organizations like charity water which raises money to build wells and such, to The Partnership which hopes for a drug free America. there are also many more for many causes.
Then you choose a sponsor, ranging from computer/software companies like Adobe, Apple, Electronic Arts...to food companies like Power Bar, And Coco Cola.
All you do is gain points from visiting the forum, inviting friends, uploading pictures, ect....And the more points you get the more money the sponsors donate to your chosen cause.
Now you mite be wondering what you can get from this? well depending on your chosen sponsors you can receive gifts...For instance i am sponsored by Volcom and they have a drawing For an Xbox360 along with tony hawks proving grounds. And Sprint Who is offering The new Instinct Phone.
So, want an easy, and free way to make a difference in the lives of others?

Don't support them GTAF is right. This company wastes all its time and money on attempting to stop marijuana use. They make all the Above the Influence commercials. You know the ones where they make up fake bull about weed cause they don't actually have anything negative they can legally say without being sued. You know like if you smoke pot an alien will steal your girlfriend... Or the talking dog who misses its old friend... The ppl at The Partnership need to get lives. Ill support an organization to get The Partnership shutdown if they got one. I have no respect for a company that attempts to rip on something they have no reason to rip on. I'm not a marijuana user myself and I find there commercials to be nothing short of arrogant flaming.GametagAeonFlux wrote:HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH, what a waste.Cobain wrote:The Partnership which hopes for a drug free America

Re: Social Vibe
not a complete waste drug use will never be completely stopped but the people who want to quit usually cant cause they wasted all of their money on coke/heroin/other expensive addictive drug and rehab costs $30000+/month so the reason why i chose them as my cause is so that they can help the people who do want to quitGametagAeonFlux wrote:HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH, what a waste.Cobain wrote:The Partnership which hopes for a drug free America

The Partnership couldn't care less about the specified people. All they care about is stopping Marijuana use, A non-addictive drug that nobody goes to rehab for... Your help is being used to pay for there next Idiotic commercial against weed.
Don't be.

People don't need rehab to stop using anything.
Quite frankly, I couldn't care less about people who let themselves become addicts. If they want to recover, that's great, But that's their problem, not mine.
I am a very charitable person, I always give to any foundation or cause I get a chance to, and I've probably given first-hand around 1-2 hundred dollars to homeless people in my life, usually anywhere from 1-5 dollars at a time, and I'm only 17. (Is some of that money being used on drugs, I'm sure, but I'm sure at least some of it bought a person dinner.)
That being said, I refuse to help somebody who's an addict. If they're pitiful enough that they needed to use drugs, for any reason, then they deserve to bail themselves out if they want to stop being a pathetic excuse for a human being. Yes, I said druggies are pathetic excuses for human beings.
Now, back on topic, I think that it's great that theres a way for people to help various charities without spending their own money. Some people want to help, but are reluctant to using their own cash. I'm not one of those people, but it's nice that they can help too.
