I need to record Microsoft Anna for my school project. But frankly, I have no idea how. Can someone help me out?

There are many programs that use Microsoft voices for text to speech converters...I'm sure a lot of them would have a save feature...Heck, you can even find sites on the internet for it (like go to an internet site and itll do it all for you)...

... I'm going to take a WILD guess and say you got this from my speaking with Anna post.

Then again, this could be a completely random coincidence.

Puttting the mic near the speakers will increase the volume of minute background noise.

Get a program that records output from your sound card. Like maybe Audacity.

Actually, I've tried that type of thing. I got Audacity, and another mini-program that leeches off of Audacity and directs sound coming out of the headphone jack through the mic jack, so the sound that should be coming to the headphones is recorded by audacity. But it was a trial program, and every 2 seconds there was this voice that says "trial... trial... trial..." embedded in your recordings and it was annoying as hell. You just have to find a free program like that.

Get Audacity (google search) and open it up, on the top right theres a drop down box (input) and change it from w/e it is on now (probably microphone) to Wave. Then hit the record button on Audacity and then play the voice on your computer. It will record any sound your computer makes though. So make sure thats the only thing. Then export and your done.

Nubs...you can do this with standard windows tool.

This is if you have XP...open the Volume Control panel, Properties go to the recording section...most sound cards have the Record: "What You Hear" option...that's the one. Then use a recorder of your choice...you can even use the SoundRecorder from XP.

SoundRecorder had a really big downgrade when it went vista.
