What should I do with 10+ useless books?

Well, I have about 10+ books leftover from last year which I collected from the freshmen locker section. I sold over $400 worth of those, but these 10+ are the leftover junk. Meaning they are worth less than the shipping for them. I have to drive, spend time, and such, so, for me, this isn't a justifiable expense. I need to get rid of these books because they are just excess clutter.

The obvious thing is to throw them out, but I'm open to any other suggestions.

Sell them to Half Price books?

It's a book franchise that's sorta popular, dunno if you have one near you though.

And expect like, $5 for all of them XD

You don't have any used book stores near you that will buy them?

Just trading card stores. No used book stores.

Set them on fire.
Throw them out in style.

In other words, pull a Fahrenheit 451.

Why be so epic?
If you can't sell them, throw them away. :|

I kind of agree with Tural. But, seriously, give them to your nearest Goodwill store-that's what my family does with all our old toddler clothes and toys and old crap we don't use anymore. They take stuff from people who don't use them anymore and sell them cheap to people who could actually use them. So if you're feeling nice and want to help someone, give em to goodwill. If you want to be evil, burn them

College Book Buyback. Or hold onto them. Old Textbooks sometimes come in handy.

Exactly :)

I was just joking though, best bet would be either to sell them, or give them away, to at the very least a charity like the Salvation Army or something.

or you could send them to Alaska for someone to use as lighter paper to start their log fires.

Where i live in the rural area there is no gas lines so we ether use oil or coal fires.
We tend to use newspaper and kindling wood to start our fires though and we use coal instead of logs.
[for anyone asking, i used to live in a large city before i moved here, much quieter.]
