i have it all drawn out for a generator that will be able to contain pure hydrogen through a simple chemical reaction of typically easy to find household products the only thing that is left to figure out is how much it can safely hold before it goes boom, a way to make it so that your not basically buying a big bomb and how much to sell it for or i could just sell the plans to do it with or i could sell bottles of hydrogen

He found a way to convert gases into pure hydrogen, and he's wondering how much he could either sell pure hydrogen for, or how much he could sell his method for.

orr the entire thing all together im also wondering how i can ensure how to keep this thing safe to be in homes and how to calculate the pressure it can hold

This isn't a chemistry forum, and therefore not a good place to ask for advice about it.

but it is the cafe on a forum with intelligent people and it really dosnt have to do with chemistry other than it contains hydrogen

i've been reeding up on my alchemy and i finaly figured out how to turn granite in to gold

How does it turn things into hydrogen...?
And if it's so simple that you magically made it up, I'm quite positive that someone being funded to do this sort of thing would have already found out.

if you want pure hydrogen put dc current into water (battery charger) negative = hydrogen positive = oxygen i think that might be backwards

Yeah, that makes a containable amount of Hydrogen, but there's no practical use to that Hydrogen unless you want to light something on fire. That method also takes for fucking ever, and its much quicker (and probably less expensive) to put small pieces of foil inside a beaker of pure Drano.

Edit: Also thats not your original idea. It's probably in every elementary grade science experiment book ever written.

And that's the reason for my question mark.

I found a way to make large amounts of water and waste to go down a porcelain chamber using a series of Water tanks, chains and valves.

For household energy generation though, I'd stick with Solar panels. No risk of Highly flammable chemicals everywhere, and no chance of a spectacular explosion.

well basically what i would be selling is a way to contain the hydrogen and yeah someones probably already done it but i need money

You're wasting your time.

You won't be able to sell this to anybody.

Also, I'm pretty sure there's this new invention called a compressed gas cylinder. But don't quote me on that.

Not at all...
Neither do I see a reason for someone buying pure H from a 'home-grown' seller.

Gosh!

You kids with your Cylinders, and your aero-planes, and your vacuum tubes, and your triangles. And don't get me started on those horseless carriages...
