No disrespect intended here, and I'm not trying to sound cold, but this is not news. Person goes crazy and kills people.. The world has so many people like this that it's almost saddening, but humanity hasn't changed in that aspect, and I can safely say that we'll have many more larger scale shootings. There's really not a whole lot to discuss about it though other than the typical "OMG he/she's messed up" and maybe the occasional psychological discussion of what caused poor Jimmy to get pissed off at "Haterude High school".
SpecOp did make a point relating to America's loose gun laws, but that's a political discussion that is more fit for its own topic. Guns aren't the only way to kill a lot of people.

This is a more legitimate thread than many. Are we going to go back to locking any threads we decide don't offer enough discussion? People loved that the first time around.

True. I reckon we just need some slightly more important things to occur in the world so we can have some really nice discussions. Oh well, my prayers go out to the families and loved ones lost.

I used to go to that church when I lived in Colorado Springs... That makes me worried, since I know people that still go there.

If america bans guns then the same thoing that happened with alcohol with prohibition will also happen with guns the crime rate will go up the murder rate will go down barely if any at all and tools and kinves will be used as weapons in short a gun ban/tightening gun laws does nothing

Nobody said anything about banning guns.

Not directly, but SpecOp44 hinted at it.

Actually I was hinting that the current gun laws should be revised, not a complete gun ban.
As it is now, pretty much anybody can get a firearm. So that's kind of an issue.

If the US bans guns there will still be guns...
