My friend does that program. He said it's pretty fun, but expensive.

Don't know what type of discussion will be held in this topic, though.

I know it's very fun, but it can costs thousands of dollars to go on one of these trips. Though, it is for I think either a whole month, or two weeks. Not sure.

I'd say it's worth it. If you have the money, or have to work you ass off to earn that much, it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and you'll never forgive yourself if you pass up the chance.

Meh I've gotten this kind of stuff before in the mail only it was a "Congressional Student Leadership something-or-other". And its great and all if they offer their services for free, but, as my dad pointed out, its a bit more of a scam than anything useful. You pay them 10 times what the course or event is worth and they get their share.

-my two cents

Though, this happens once a year. Same people, too, just depends if they have the money to go again.

Since, as I said before, it's very expensive.

But otherwise, sounds fun.

Take advantage of opportunities you've got over others.

Well if he refuses, they won't reinvite him, because they know he won't come. If he's invited again next year, he doesn't have to go again.
