This is just...I dunno, I can hardly put it into words. It just sucks so much that people turn out like this and do these kind of things. If your life is fucked up, then do what you will with it only if it affects you...But to go out and kill 8 people, damaging friends family and of course, the victim's is just beyond me...

there is one positive thing to be noted in the article...and that's that the kid survived when attempting to kill himself.

I really really hope that if he pleads for insanity in court, that it DOESN'T get accepted, and that he gets trialled on the basis that he went out and killed 8 people and punished accordingly.

So what's your thoughs?

Kids these days will make a fad out of anything. Right now it's school shootings. Oh what's that? You want to bring a gun to your school and shoot a few people? Yea, real fucking original asshole.

If that weren't enough he didn't even manage to kill himself. Wow.

We almost had one in my area but luckily she was caught before anything happend. The principle of that school said he was more worried about her fitting back in than her attempting to try that again... Some people are just retards...

a kid in my school district brought a bb gun into school and shot the teacher in the leg and at my middle school a 7th grader brought a knife in and in the middle of class he shouted i cant take it anymore and stabbed the desk resulting in a lockdown

He named his gun Catherine and talks about how much he loves it. Perhaps he should have made sweet, sweet love to 'her' and enjoyed the wonderful climax as the gun discharges.

actually, i think his killing spree was more driven by his social/political beliefs and things he didn't like about society than other issues kids usually shoot people up for.

i saw something interesting on reddit, and it appears that the killer had left (on purpose, imo) his website directory open for viewing. inside are pictures of him with his gun, a video of him shooting fruit in the woods, and pictures of just a normal guy. you wouldn't be able to tell he'd be the kind of person that would do something like this if you saw him on the street or anything.

i suppose it's an interesting browse if you've ever wanted to know how these people thing, but this isn't just one of those "i've never fit in so i'll shoot them instead" people, he was actually driven by his ideology based on how he perceived faults in society, etc. interesting, but remember that his ideals brought him to killing people. also remember that ideas hijack the human mind, so treat whatever you find on there as opinion.

Wow...people these days, if he gets off on insanity, then the judicial is f'ed up and shows how close America is from devastation. I mean he'd have a better chance getting off for retardation, I mean how do you just get done killing 8 people but when you try to kill your self you miss >.> thats just dumb.

I hate how some of these shooters kill because society is screwed up, yet, they are one of the major contributors to screwing up society. Anyone who feels the need to go out and destroy life has serious problems. Scumbags.

Schools aren't exactly safe in the first place... Mine especially, my whole school is a set of portables out in the open of a major town. Anyone with a gun or two could walk in a portable and start killing. My school only has one officer, whom is usually in the office. It'd be a while before anyone even noticed.
Yet, it still is quiet sad that a haven like a school that is intended to shape kids up for the future, is a constant target for this crap. It pisses me off.

Yeah why do people shoot up school and not other places. Why do they take their anger out on younger people that still have their whole life ahead of them? Not saying they should be taking their anger out on anyone at all, but why always schools? =/

Honestly, I kinda wish there were a jigsaw about right now.. :p It takes a sick person to help these sick people.

It is really messed up to hurt inocent people when they didnt do anything... even if this guy had been depressed or something go get a counceler i mean damn wtf is peoples problems these days .. next think you know a mans gonna get fat and think hes having a baby and shot him self or start jumping down stairs tryingto kill it.

Yeah, and you think that insane people just get let off? They get put into an asylum or something, if you do shit like that because you're crazy, you can't help it, so the government and society try to help you by putting you in a treatment center. Also you have to get declared mentally insane by a professional psychiatrist, so you can't just easily claim it.
