My parents are allowing me to build a couple ramps and quarter pipes to make my own 'skate park' in my backyard. Thing is, I don't know WHAT to build and how to build it. I have ideas but I don't know if they are good or not. I just wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions.
Here are some specks:
My backyard is 51' L x 44'10" W.
The space in the backyard I get to use is:
38'11" L x 16'3" W.
Made a little pic in paint real fast

xD

What ever happened to the 'Defy Gravity' with magnets idea in your backyard?

what with the narrow space, i'd personally have a box or some sort of rail in the middle, and a quarter pipe at the end. sizes are up to you, but you could probably build boxes of different heights and move them around. maybe have a hole in the middle of the cement, and one of the edges of a box be made out of a pipe with some overhang, so you can put the pipe in the hole so it stays there.

I recently built a mini ramp in my backyard. that took alot of work and money. unless you have alot of time/money i suggest you focus on something a little more scaled down skate park. maybe just a mini ramp or a quarter pipe with a funbox or rail.
just throwing some suggestions, and good luck on your construction.

I'll bring the soda
also ya i didn't consider money if you don't have that i suggest maybe a quarter pipe and maybe some little ramps on the side. if i dont make sense it's because i dont skate board i might try it in a little bit. but i tried it once but i stank at it.

I didn't actually mean a whole skate park. I was planning on putting in these things:
A staircase with six stairs, and enough room to go fast enough.
A rail
A set of ramps like this:
lol more paint pictures...
and a quarter pipe.
I know it will cost a lot of money, but I have just enough from playing moola all the time.

or what would be cool is if you just built over it like build a quarter pipe and then make it to where it leads to the top of the treehouse and then you could put some kickers off of it that lead down to a funbox or something.

Thats the shed on the left in the second picture. Those are pic's of the space I get to use. You can kind of see the leg of tree house in the first pic.
Edit:
Tis the tree house:

You look like you don't have a enough room, it most likely won't be worth it. I'd say build a portable rail/ramp, and just put it on the street.
