That's how I'd get there at school (school firewall doesn't block secure sites).
I've been using it for over a year. I'd trust it with my life. I use it because:
1. It keeps all of my IM windows in an IE tab
2. It allows me to log into a single "application" to access all of my IMs
3. I don't have to install software, which tends to la--l--g--lag my computer and run at startup/in the background
And if you don't like having your chats in an IE window, you can pop them out into independent windows.
I'd go with it. I've shown it to a million people.

These are reasons to trust this website with your life? Odd...XBC-Requiem wrote:https://www.meebo.com

Plus plugin support and no ads. Overall, Trillian is better and doesn't really suck at all.

EDIT: The only thing that Trillian doesn't support that meebo.com does is Gtalk or whatever. Besides Gtalk, Trillian offers far more than meebo.

Instant messaging is something I do not want in my browser. I want it to be an application.
Furthermore, Trillian's UI is the best I've seen, and it is the sole reason for my continuous use of it, despite file transfer problems with some people.
Sorry, didn't know that < 5mb was such a massive strain on your computer. Clearly that makes it FAR superior.XBC-Requiem wrote:Why it's better than Trillian and such:
