Nice.
What do you guys think of these new models?
The Nano's quite impressive, though the touch seems a bit stupid, you'd surely just get the iPhone.
The storage on the classic is also quite impressive.
I'm just going to wait for the iPhone to reach the U.K. stores, or check out the Chinese knock-off if I can find one.

The iPod classic looks awesome. I don't really like the Nano.

The new iPod touch seems ridiculously pointless, and the new Nano looks like shit, but I really like the new iPod Classic.

I don't think the touch is pointless...it's what I love about the iPhone, minus what I hate.
Getting an iPhone isn't really an option for me, because I'm already on T-Mobile. I don't want to pay a cancellation fee, plus a huge monthly data plan fee. I like my phone, I wouldn't want a new one.
However...the iPod touch is the cool stuff about the iPhone...touch screen, wireless access, Youtube app, Safari...and it easily looks like there's some room for third-party hacks in there.
But I agree, I don't like the nano's form factor. The matte finish on the classic and nano is cool, though.

I like my current iPod, but it's getting to that hell of rechargeable batteries.
Also, MIKE, please don't try to start product wars in here...any topic with Apple or Microsoft in it tends to attract them, so let's just leave the discussion to these. Mmkay? Mmkay.

iPod touch is the only one really worthwhile and interesting to me. The iPod classic, well, since its classic shows me nothing really new...Wow...160GB. Some may have that amount of stuff in videos and music, I don't.
The nano, well, I kinda think it goes against why I'd want a nano. I nearly bought a nano, as I just wanted a really small thin formfactor, this doesn't seem all that great. Its thicker and bigger.
The touch though, now that's something from apple I'd actually want to buy. Not only do a I get a kickass touch screen interface where I'd lose myself playing with it for days, I don't have to get some stupid contract with a poor American carrier. It also has a HDD size thats enough for me. Provided they aren't a bunch of losers (which I'm sure thay are), it would be good not to have the recessed earphone jack because they lose if they try and make me stuck with some bull tinny crappy bassless headphones. And hey, it does the wifi that everyone wanted with the zune (downloading music) not that I'd ever use that. Youtube = win though.
Now it come down to whether it comes to Australia...Our wireless coverage isn't actually......there? We have wireless coverage in terms of mobile networks (like HDPCA or whatever the 3g network is) so they'd have to change the way the wifi works or something here. Regardless, I may part with my money.
