Let's Play Final Fantasy 9

Alright, well if you've ever been a member of the Something Awful forums, you know how this works. For those who don't:

Basically, I play the game. Screenshots are added with har-larious commentary, etc etc. You forum members can make decisions on how I play the game, choose character names, and so forth. For examples of previous "Let's Play" threads, you can look here.

So, would any people here be interested in this sort of thing? I don't really want to do it if it's just going to be one or two people involved, since it requires quite a bit of work. Anyways, post away if you'd like to see it.

(try reading at least a little of one of the archived threads, or go to SA's forums to see a current one before just saying "sounds boring")

WARNING!

This game may contain adult content or themes (don't worry, no nudity) that some people may not find suitable for younger viewers. If you're offended by war or bad words, you may want to leave.

Also, there are going to be a LOT of images...and even at 640x480 web optimized jpgs, they're still ~100-200k a piece. If you have a slow connection...sorry.

UPDATE 9/15:

I decided to do all my updates in HTML files now, so things will be a lot easier. Because of this, I figure it'll be good to have an index of the chapters in the first post as well. Note that I highly recommend you read the posts for each chapter, since there's little tidbits of information in them that you might need to know if you want to participate...or if you're just curious.

Disc 1

Chapter 1 [Post] - Opening Cinematic to first character naming.
Chapter 2 [Post] - First battle to second character naming.
Chapter 3 [Post] - First bit of play to third character naming.
Chapter 4 [Post] - Alexandria to crash in Evil Forest.

Aw, crap, Final Fantasy IX? Haven't played it yet, and it would be nice to know a little about the game's path and stuff. But I'm definitely in.

Don't worry, it's basically a screenshot diary of the entire game, and there's nothing you need to know before playing the game.

So I'm new to this, but very eager to play along. How big are the steps? Are we gonna say what you're gonna do every turn in a battle, or what?

If you want an example of it, you can look at the Final Fantasy 8 thread. Y'all basically decide party types, what I should do next (like if there's a side quest or something), etc. It won't be:

I attacked.
He attacked me.
My turn, WHAT DO I DO?!
Use potion.
He attacked me.
...

Should have a very short update soon (opening cinematic up to the naming of the main character). It'd be really awesome if someone wrote a Photoshop script to convert a folder of images from .bmp to .jpg with 100% quality though.

EDIT: Scratch that, gotta love File->Automate.

Yeah, it's a guy. I don't know either, don't ask. So guys, what's our hero's name? Be creative here, I don't want "omg naem him poopface!", you'll be seeing this name the rest of the game. Also, yeah, this post was pretty image heavy for such a short amount of content, but they'll be shorter with more story (and better opportunities for humor...not much to work with here) as we get out of the beginning parts here.
