What do you guys think of Ghost? I have had some weird experiences, like strange noises, (Not the cracks from the sun heating stuff up, then at night when it's cooling off, how it cracks, you know) But like, nothing big like apparitions, (Full body type ghost..) But also my relative said that at our lake house one night, she saw my Grandfather (Not really) in the guest rooms chair. (She was in the Guest room, and said it appeared in the chair.) This chair is where he always sat to read. She said he just rocked and looked at here then disappeared when she screamed. ( I heard the scream, but I was downstairs. She had never seen my Grandfather before, but she described him perfectly. So what are your stories or thoughts on them?

I once read a fascinating theory on a forum, but it wasn't sourced, and I can't remember it fully, but it had to do with something about electrical and magnetic fields interacting with and stimulating a portion of the brain that can be led to ghosts/ghostly feelings.

well a lot of creepy shit has happened to me bro. Once, when we were moving into our new house, we had to sleep in the living room. At night, I'm not sure what time, we heard a shit load of chains come crashing down from the ceiling. Then we heard foot steps. We were scared shitless dude. Then my dad got up and turned on the lights, and there was nothing there. That was enough to prove to me that ghosts do exist.

Stupid. Fake. People just see things. Yes, I've seen all the "OMG spooky!" videos of "ghosts," but I think it's just coincidental shadows and frauds.
In other words, I don't believe in them.

Don't know if I believe or not.

But I do know that I really enjoy the Ghost Hunters show. You know the real stuff where they go in the haunted places and TRY to debunk stuff but end up calling the place actually haunted.

Not sure about this. I believe that there is something that happens after death. The reason for this is because of my old pet cat.
On like November 26th or something, my cat died at night. My parents woke me up and told me they were going to the vet. I was really tired and so I just said okay and layed down on the couch in the living room.
I wasn't able to get sleep and I started hearing some little thumps in the kitchen. Then I heard a really loud cat meowing. It didn't sound like my cat, but I'm pretty sure it was him. I was scared shitless for some reason (don't ask me why) so I just turned over, shut my eyes and tried to sleep.

More thumps and more loud meowing continued for like 30 seconds after that. I wish I would've done something more.

Like I said, to me this proves that there is something after death. I'm not sure about my opinion on ghosts though.

Let's try to keep specific religions out of this, please. Don't focus on one thing.

I don't think that you can say that ghost's just "don't exist" straight out of the blue. We just don't understand yet. Humanity has ALWAYS been over arrogant about our knowledge, and we always assume that we know everything. Humankind once believed, generally, that the other planets and Sun revolved around the Earth. We know that's not true now.
It's the same with ghosts...we probably just don't have the knowledge to either prove or disprove them. We don't know everything, and we most likely never will.

Also, the after death thing is intriguing to me as well. Not really ghostly, but when my grandmother died, and we spread her ashes out, about 5-10 minutes after that happening, a black bird and a white bird circled overhead, directly opposite each other. That was pretty creepy.

I see ghosts in halo all the time. Elites drive them most often. Ghost's are real. :P

But on a serious note, I do not believe in ghosts at all.
I read a think also about the magnetic field and a humans brains reactions and all that stuff.

Don't get me wrong I believe that after death we go somewhere, but it's not back where we started on earth. I believe it's where-ever you mind takes you after death.

Well, I was playing paintball really late at night using some spotlights and stuff for lighting. Anyways, we saw a glowing figure that looked like a child or shorter adult a ways out. So we went towards to see if it was someone we knew since there's never anyone in that area. Anyways, we didn't feel like going through the woods (lots of small streams and stuff that'd lead to getting dirty) and whatever it was appeared to be the same distance as when we started. Anyways, we turned back around and walked back for a while before we checked back and it looked like whatever it was had gotten closer, it appeared to be the same distance from us when we first turned around.

I still don't believe in ghosts or anything, but it was the only semi-spooky thing I've ever experienced. It was just weird that no matter where we were, it appeared to be the same distance away. It was a full moon that night, it must have just been the way the light was reflecting off the trees or something.

Now I'm not disagreeing with you here modder, but many of us that have never expierienced a... how should I put it...?.... "Ghostly" situation, tend to be disbelievers. Also, it seems like human nature to not believe in it until after it happens to you....

BTW, anyone here afraid of ghoss? Im around them so much i'm not... I live in a 200+ year old house. It has one of those 'secret rooms' used during the southern cotton slavery...

EDIT: @Rain is anyone in your family qages 13-17? If so, please read my previous (or one before that lol) post...

If you still have them, scan them in for me, or package them and ship them to me. I'd be interested in looking into it.
