Chris Benoit & Family Found Dead

Renowned pro wrestler Chris Benoit, his wife and their 7-year-old-son, were found dead Monday afternoon in their Fayetville, Ga. home, Atlanta police said.

Police would not give any details on how Benoit, 40, his wife Nancy, and son Daniel died, other than to say they were not shot to death, the Atlanta-Journal Constitution reported Monday. Authorities are investigating the deaths.

My younger brother watches wrestling. A shame though he died, his son had his whole life ahead of him.

That really sucks too yesterday I was looking forward to him winning ECW title then this it was a good run for him though he was great,

Yeah, the current theory is that it was a murder-suicide. How anyone has it in them to murder a 7 year old child is beyond me. It just seems completely like a completely impossible thing to me.

sad to hear about things like this. people dying/being killed is life, but when it's whole families it's pretty depressing.

I accidently just turned to the thing they have on USA Network remembering them. It is extremely sad to see huge wrestlers weeping over this guy and the good times they had...

I too hate wrestling...especially WWE...but dam...

well the death is leigit.... Cuase if any of you watched raw for the past month.... the killed MR. Mcmahaon's "Gimmick" (he suppsley died ina Exploding Limo....) and the broughtit back. beuase of beniots death...

so it has been discovered that the deaths of the Benoit family were a double murder//suicide.

the part that really made me sad?

Chris Benoit killed his wife Nancy, and their son Daniel over the weekend,presumably when he canceled his match with C.M. Punk due to "family crisis", and than he killed himself today.(Monday)

it's crazy that over the years you could grow to love a person.. a character, and than have something like this happen.

I'd like to know what the text messages said. They obviously raised enough suspicion to warrant the contacting of WWE, then them contacting police. Perhaps these detail the reason for his murders and ultimately, suicide. Police say they aren't looking for a suspect, due to the double murder/suicide, as has been stated, they also stated that there were no gunshots, stab wounds, etc. They say they have a very good idea of how the deaths occurred, but are waiting for confirmation. What would be so clear a form of death that they could be sure when they got there? I've heard reports that the weapons were found at the scene. The only thing I could assume would be something like blunt force trauma.

Well, I see this in fact is true then. I guess i gotta say that I do feel sorry for the family, let's just hope they're in a better place now.
