This confuses the hell out of me.MaestroMan wrote:Yeah, iPods really look alot better in my opinion
Ah, you edited the post. Well, it's good to see we have an unbiased opinion here to help out. Thank you, MaestroMan. We apologize for discussing the Zune on your internet. We'll be going now, we're off to buy iPods, despite the lack of features. But I mean, hey! Who cares about features when your device is a little smaller?!

The zune looks pretty cool, I would buy one, If I had enough music to put on it, or does it carry around videos and photos too? What about dvd video, will it play that?

The Zune is alright...yeah, it has the music sharing thing, but honestly, I wouldn't spend $250 to get a totally new music player with that, plus other features that aren't really important to me, when I have one that does what I want it to: play music.

I don't doubt the Zune is really good, or even better than iPods in some areas. However, I just like iPods better. I downloaded the Zune program to sync it with my 360 to share music and videos, but it was pretty confusing. iTunes is really simple and nice. Plus, I'm just not a person for all these fancy things they are comming out with (video, wifi file sharing, etc). I buy an mp3 to listen to music, and iPods get the job done well. Therefore, I like iPods better.

Damnit shadowkhas, I posted basically the same thing as you... but you got to it first... I hit reply and you posted so it wouldn't let me.... >_> lol

Really, why do you need wi-fi, connection to a game system, etc... on a music player? really....
I like iPod because of its ease of use, the scroll wheel and the Nano's size. I see no reason in any of the Zune's new functionality, and I'd also hate to have to click 328 times to get to a single song I want to listen to. Thats what makes the scroll wheel so great, and what puts the iPod at the top of the MP3 player hierarchy in my opinion.
I'm not saying the Zune is bad, its just waay too much stuff for an mp3 player. Too much stuff that I don't want and that I wouldn't use.
Basically:
If you want to listen to music: iPod
If you want power in your pocket and WiFi etc... Zune

ITT we talk about the Zune but you cannot reference any other mp3 players.Tural wrote:This is not an iPods vs. Zune thread.
The Zune is very Zuney. It is good. It is not better than itself though. In fact it has exactly all the features that the Zune has. I'm not sure I'd be willing to pay $250 for a Zune when I could get a Zune for the same amount that does the exact same things.
