I don't want to intrude on other's beliefs here...I can accept that other people believe in other things...I do not say they are wrong nor enforce my beliefs onto them like they do to me.
But this one is just a bit of noggin scratcher...Could someone explain this to me?
Essentially what this article and what the museum is suggesting, is that in the ultimo garden of edan, where all types of beings lived, without pain (and obviously no carnivores...somehow) and of course dinosaurs!...
The thing is, this is a scientific museum. To say we lived among the dinosaurs brings up a few questions...
What ever happened to all our scientific dating? Did we forget to carry the one? Instead of hundreds of millions of years ago and many stages of evolution, we accidently miscalculated and mistook millions for 6,000 years old (roughly my understanding of how old the earth is according to a certain religion)?
If that's the case, that we lived in harmony together...Then if there is an abundance of dinosaur fossils, all over the world, that suggests that this garden, was, well, the Earth itself. It also brings up the question: where are all the other fossils?. (Because of course, everything does die, if something as large as a dinosaur can turn into a fossil, or something as small as a bug)
If this musem was accurate, then we would be finding dog fossils, human fossils, elephant fossils...Pretty much everything we live with today (since there was no evolution after all to some) would have a fossil somewhere on this earth.
But of course, this like many other things, is just a belief...But can you even make sense of it? I try to understand what they're saying, but then this thing called logic comes into my head and tells me not to listen.
Sorry if I offended anyone...I wanted this to be a discussion to help make sense of things.
I also want no religious bashing that can and will offend someone.
I also asked the flying spaghetti monster to help me out in this situation...To seek guidance if you will. Hopefully his noodley appendage will find all answers.
Read and enjoy!

You're certainly not proof of evolution, since you're displaying an intelligence equivalent to our ancestors right now... But evolution in general is backed by many factual claims. One of course being DNA.Dootuz wrote:They dont have proof at all for evoltioniGeo wrote:And something else, that makes a significant difference.Alexander wrote:Because...they...have...science...Ombre wrote:Ermm, don't Evolutionists do the same?shadowkhas wrote:I don't have a problem with the museum itself...it's just that when they start calling it factitious is when I get a bit mad.

Great job addressing the points made in the quote by making false claims on your behalf of obviously self-constructed points...Dootuz wrote:oh ok (to iGeo)

I think people lost the true meaning of religion a long time ago...
Religion was supposed to be the guiding force that kept people from doing bad things. Religion was meant to guide people through life in a meaningful way.
Now I have no idea what religion is about...

No, religion originated in outlandish claims a group of people decided to pass off as fact, back then. Now people claim it is a broad guideline because of their increasingly vague logic that seems to surface as facts that contradict their very premise become more prevalent. "God is the energy around us!!!"
If that were true, God would be a hunk of coal.
I can take a shot in the dark and make the assumption that Dootuz was the victim of childhood indoctrination.
