This is a small sneak preview of something I am working on. I know it's not the greatest, please provide constructive criticism, suggestions, and comments.

Saying "thing" a lot really takes away from it...expand your vocabulary or avoid writing the same phrase over and over.

It's a good start/premise though...sounds like Doom 3.

Yea, but they all call the "things" things because they don't know what they are. It is a bit like Doom3, I'm going to make a movie about it later, when I get around to it, but thanks for the feedback.

Monster, beast, creature, animal etc etc...you don't have to have all of the SAT words memorized, just use any word other than "thing". Or you can use some descriptive imagery/adjectives for filler sentences in between your actions/events.

Well, you can use other words like "being", "monster" or "demon". That still pretty much leaves it in the air for what they are. Looks like a good start. Though, I agree with GTAF, try to use a more complex vocabulary in reference to the zombies or whatever. The rest of the word choice is actually nicely varied. :)
