Elder King is off!

First off, this thread is NOT about discussing religion. Anything that treads too close to a debate, will be removed.
Please keep this thread centered around its topic... me!
I am LDS (Mormon), and I am 19 years of age. If nobody knows what that means, it means that I get to go and serve our Church and Lord on an LDS mission.
Now, shadowkhas lives in Utah, so he can tell you. Mormons do not have horns, we do not practice polygamy, and we do not scour the Earth looking for gold to get back to Heaven. >_>
(Now nobody has to ask. >_> )
For a full rundown of what it is about,
WikiPedia has a good article about it. I can be sent to most places around the world. Japan, Germany, The Netherlands, The UK or even the US. Depending on where I go, I may be gone for two, or three years.
I put in my papers last week, and I may be getting word this Wednesday. If not, it will be next Wednesday for sure..
SO, the reason behind this thread is for:
Take a guess as to where I'm going! It may be stateside, it may be foreign. You have two guesses; one for in the states, and one for foreign.
When I get my call this Wednesday, I'll let you know where I'm going.

My last name is King, and we address missionaries as 'Elder.'

I knew the king part... but not the elder part
-Also-
What do you do when Halo 3 comes out? ( not that you care on your "mission" )
no offense intended

Religion is probably more important than a video game in his case.

Congrats, dude! That's exciting stuff!
I will say you'll go to the Philippines. That's where a lot of my friends and my little brother went. I, for one, served in the Virginia Richmond mission. I got back in '03, and have since married.
I'll guess that you'll leave April 25 of this year.
Anyway, congrats and good luck! That's freakin' awesome, man! You'll love it!

Sweet. That brings the known population of Mormons to three; Chad, Balll, and myself.
Insane, it's true I'll go nuts not being to play, but it's a small sacrifice.
(Just be ready to play non-stop with me when I return. ;D )

My brother's best friend just got back from his mission about 2 months ago, El Salvador.
And I think what Gametag said pretty much sums up my feelings as well.
At least you're not leaving right now though, we've still got a few months of fun on XBL and such left.

I know this is off topic, but I thought I'd show this, especially how I brought up myself, my wife, and my religion. This picture shows all three pretty easily.
I live up here in Rexburg going to school at BYU Idaho and got a job working on the Rexburg Temple construction site. This is the day we put the Moroni in place. My wife came up to watch (along with most of the town, it seemed). My wife is pictured here in the picture with me. It's only fuzzy where we're standing because I'm too ugly for the camera to focus on me.

A Mormon temple was actually just built 20 minutes away from my house.

My Dad's Co-Worker is a devout Mormon, (brother Goodman) and owns the most guns of any person I know, outside of the FBI. Maybe you're going to the range with him like he, most of the guys at his congregation and his Boy Scout Troop did.

Chad, that's sweet man! My sister has a friend up in Rexburg. I believe her name is Rachel Abe (pronounced Aw-beh), though I believed she married to a 'Dan Doyle Daniels.' >_>
Nice name, eh?
Thanks for the support you all.
And Mar,
