I wonder if we ever would go out and space and extract some of the diamond.

That would be cool, but first we'd have to find means of getting there before you die of old age, and extracting the diamon out of extremely hot lava.

Eh? Well that could be a problem them unless we use robots, but then that could be a long time till we do that too.

Yeah, we'd need to develop a material strong enough to withstand the heat of the sun, not to mention something that could extract the diamon. We could use diamon to extract it, but meh, that's not cool

interesting. let's just borrow whatever dr. evil was using to detonate a nuke at the earth's core. coat it with diamonds and it should be fine. detonate a few nukes inside the star at a precise position, and blow off a chunk of diamond towards us.

say.. imagine it; a MASSIVE meteor shower, and the meteor's above-average size and composure of pure diamond allows it to withstand the re-entry. millions and millions of bright streaks falling from the sky that are diamonds! that'd be awesome.
