Bungie tossed around some betas to the troops in Iraq and these are some pics of them playing.

This is the best part imo. Here are 2 very short(but still revealing) clips that one of the troops must have taken.

Watch the second vid, but watch it by pressing pause/play all the way through it. On the righthand side of the screen I'm almost positive you see a purple grunt fly by. Considering the beta is supposedly only multiplayer, just think about that...

I saw it as well. Weird.

I guess Bungie found out that this would make the troops more aggressive and manlier, jolly good show

To me it looks like a dead, purple spartan is blown up by a grenade. If you look closely there seems to be a small explosion and the body in midair.

Pretty awesome! I can't wait!

Those levels look like something from graw

they look like more than just halo 2s lets make the levels as bare and simple as possible

Interesting..

Couple of things though:
Is it just me or was the way the MC was holding the Assault Rifle just look really bad.. Also the crosshair.. Ehh.
Aand also the shield bar.. Why did they place it at the top .
What was wrong with where it was in Halo 2.

What was wrong with it in Halo 1?

Gosh its alpha, If you've seen dev videos of halo 2 it was a ton different then it was at release.

Btw I made a topic on the exact same thing in the halo 3 section.
