This is definitely NOT fake. One of the guys in my group has a swollen cheek where his sister bopped him on the cheek playing Red Steel.

Its peoples fault for not doing the following:

1. Make sure your not standing right beside or behind the person playing.
2. Don't swing the controller like a mad gorilla, it could result in you destroying your beautiful plasma screen T.V. or your friend.
(on the note of the controllers disconnecting)
3. Noobs, don't put the controller behind your back -_-.
