One that's not made to be answered.
Like "your not serious" would be an example... I think.

A rhetorical question, is a question asked intended to not receive the answer to the question asked.
"Why are you people so stupid?" would be an example...

And yes, Dual cores are better... basically in every aspect.

=P

Expect quad-core motherboards and processores sometime next year. (At least i think next year =/ ) It definatly is in development right now though.

And yes, get a dual core processor.

How do you know if you have 2 or 1. In Control Panel/System it says: 2.80GHz then underneath it, i have 2.79GHz, 1GB Ram. Basically like this:

Pentium(R) D CPU 2.80GHz
2.79GHz, 1.00GB of ram

Does that mean i have 2 or just 1? I'm not sure how to interpret that.

You should only have one processor in your computer. (if not then i dont know what to say) But it looks like you have a single core.

The processor is basically the brains of your computer.

Navigate to Start Menu and run "dxdiag"

Click on System tab (if it isn't already)

Look for processor

If you have two it will say (2 CPUs) at the end of your processor.

Single.

Single = individual = different = special = good.

My Processor = Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 1500Mhz
It is ***.

That's not always a reliable way to find out.
