How'd you get your name?

Mine's just from my old go-by in online games...Aeon Flux.
My sister picked it, and when I was 10, Aeon and Flux were two hella cool words. Now I go by Umberger, but changing my name here would be awkward (like when Ketchup and Tural changed theirs, they each lasted like what...4 days?).
Anyway...I'm curious to see how people got their names.

Mine was changed for Halloween, but Kirk didn't get back on to change it back for a few days.
Anyways, no idea where mine came from. Just thought of it.

I use fishface for email, aim, and other forums and i keep it the same so i can remember it. I first made my screen name fishface617 back in 5th grade, so ive just kept it. I really dont know where i got it from.

My original name on this site was ShadowDeath, then I changed it to RvBShadow, then I realized just Shadow was boring so I went to some translation websites and the only translation of Shadow that wasn't like 12 letters long, was Ombre, which is French.

My first username ever was Jim797, used it for Runescape. >_>
My first username here was "da_halord". Halo + Lord = Halord. =\
Then that one changed to th3 halord.
Then to H1Gh V0Lt4Ge, because of the song (You know which one...)
Then I got rid of the "H1Gh" because everyone calls me "Voltage" on XBL and stuff.

Mine happens to be an abbreviated verizion of my really one "nosottno". It's an inside joke between me and my friends. But that one got banned a long time ago.
Wait, your name was GTAF before the movie came out? wierd.

I got my name for my love of the New-Age Macintosh computers.
Really, i love macs.
EDIT: at least they LOOK better that PC's.

...it was an anime show on MTV way back when.
My sister later showed that to me because she's into all that Japanese culture/anime stuff...and it's a pretty messed up show. A lot of people didn't know that, so it was ok to be named Aeon Flux, then when the movie was announced and people knew Aeon Flux was a girl, I was all...fuck that, time for a name change.

My original name was HPDarkness, but I forget my old email and password.
My original name on every game was always Darkness, Up until CS 1.5 where I joined a clan called Hell's Pwners, So I left it as HPDarkness. Then when I joined the clan called Halo PC I was all set. It can also mean Hell's Providers (The game I'm making in school.) Or My old Halo 2 clan Hell Pigeons. Plus HP + Darkness sounds cool.

Laugh all you want, but mine was created by....eBay! They asked me for my phone number and the last 4 digits are 9713 and it said name a hobby, and I said nintendo! so...viola! nintendo9713. Although I go by Agnt 007 on everything else, yes, agnt 007 without the E...because I don't know why, never liked the E so, Agnt 007 is my gamertag and what I go by in Halo PC and will go by in H2Vista, etc.

Well the Folkluv part of my name is respect for Folks (a gang), my Crip gang is allied to Folks, and 333 is a Crip number.

Umm I at first thought gokawa(It's something I used since I wached dbz) but then I started to state I was hawaiian in more sites, So since this was a modding site I used Hawaiian Modder.
If I was to change it, I would be 8ballah(Way old sn I used to use)
