MOV files in WMM?

Post by gh0570fchurch »

WMM (Windows Movie Maker), doesn't, by default, import .mov files. I need to make a film using these files, and I can't find a plugin, and all the convertors I've found have converted it with crappy, and laggy quality, that you can't even see what anyone is doing or saying. I've searched and searched, and can't find anything. Anyone mind helping me? Thanks.

WinAVI is the best converter I have ever found, it's very good.

Riverpast Video Cleaner is the best one out there IMO.

You can convert from mov. to gif with imageready though.

WinAVI required a bunch of codecs that I don't have, and DivX doesn't support mov files. I'll try the one Patrick suggested. (Can't use ImageReady, because I need the sound)

EDIT: hmm, that one does what I need, but it costs $30, and I'm looking for something that atleast has a trial.
