I got around to seeing the latest in the Bond series last night, starring Daniel Craig in his first outing as the legendary British spy.

It was a fast-paced, adrenaline fueled movie, and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. You don't even need to be a Bond fan to enjoy this movie.

True 007 fans will enjoy this, and will understand why it has been made the way it is, as you must consider that this is the first Bond... whereas the people that think they are 007 fans may not enjoy it as a new Bond movie, because they may not see the wider picture.

Either way, it was a very good movie, and I'm going to see it again tonight, this time with friends rather than family.

Please talk here about how you felt the movie was, but don't reveal any plot points or spoilers... that's just lame.

I plan on seeing it. Can I ask If there were any spectacular explosions?

Yes, there is atleast one explosion that doesn't suck.

I saw it last night, it was alright, I found it a bit too long though. I thought it was over, and then it just kept going, and going... The first part of the movie was way better then the rest of it IMO.

I thought the middle to be too long, the end may have had less action but it was showing you James developing into his 007 role, from being just a cocky agent.

Also, explosions were plentiful...

I just saw the late movie, I thought it was awesome.

Great movie.
But damn near 3 hours.

3 hours long. =o I wasn't planning on seeing it and I definetly won't now. I couldn't sit there for 3 hours watching a movie unless it were very funny or scary where it would have you shoving the pop corn bucket over your head. That's my kind of movie.

Not when the movie kept dragging on and on.

Yeah, just because it's 3 hours doesn't mean it's a good movie. Lord of the Rings took 3 hours long just because there was so much dang stuff in it. I haven't seen this yet though, my theater sucks.

I saw it last night. Much more realistic than other bond movies, no evil master minds taking over the world with giant lasers.

Just saw it the other night...it was good and all, but a little drawn out.

Bring a friend or two to erm...distract you.
