What are your thoughts on our new board? How can we improve it? What would you like to see here? Here's a general discussion for your thoughts about General Chat; we'd like some user feedback.

YAYAYAY I love this new board. I didn't see it coming. I mean I clicked graphixs and was all LIKEPMGWTH? And it brought me here. And I was confused But Now I am found. I saw we have diccusions on Starting a new HaloMods Clan :O? And organize battles with Halomods users. MbMb.

I dunno it just feels like this should really belong on the users forum not here. Just doesn't feel right and I just know it will get spammed...

Not if it is watched well, and people actually follow the rules. ( Even though this is the Files.Forums, I still think it was necesary to have this board. I mean, It does give the users more freedom and such.) Ideas for mods... Clans... Polls... Polls for school... *cough*gta*cough*

It's been discussed in depth amongst the staff. We're fully aware the User forum has a chat board. All of these issues were brought up. The rules will be enforced here as in any other board, and spam will not be tolerated.

If the users of this board can't handle a little freedom with this board, then I suppose it will have to be removed; we certainly trust our users are mature enough to do so.

Shiny =O hmm can't stay long, gotta get up at 3am (4 and a half hours) but um I think we should have like 3 more rules that state the fact that this isn't a Q&A forum.. ;p oh and HALO 3 FTW!

Tyco this is so 7 hours ago. A kid at my school had a magazine today talknig all about Halo 3. ( More info then the spiker and nail gun stuff.. ) But actual pics of the maps!

We're in Copying-Denial Voltage, we couldn't do that. =x

this place is a blessing allowing us to leave things to discuss without resorting to MSN...
However, if this adds to your post count I can only think "general chat" means "spam" and then the battle to become a top 10 poster will ensue as people are now viewing top 10 as a position of power (I'm saying other people's views about it, not saying the current top 10'ers).

edit: Many "announcement" topics such as halo-3 and GoW can go here now

I don't feel spam will be a problem. Spam will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis judged by the staff member who's reading the thread.

They will be dealt with by gta's robot.

I moved the Halo 3 and Halo Wars topics here, as they're now discussions, and not so much announcements. I'll leave Ketchup to his GoW thread decisions.

There won't be spamming, and no one's going to catch up to me. =\

But if there is spamming, we'll take care of it...report function ftl.
