Super Mario World

Post by RaVNzCRoFT »

Who still has a Super Nintendo? Am I the only one?

Super Mario World. The best video game, forever and always, Amen.

The best levels are the ones in Bowser's kingdom.

I completely own SMW. I can beat it in...probably an hour. I've seen a speedrun of some guy who beat it in ten minutes. I could probably do that if I were to cut through Star World, but I like to go through all the levels. Who has gotten to, or beaten, the Special Levels?

I did. Theres soo much hidden stuff in that game. Thats why I liked it. It was like the first game that I've seen with soo much hidden stuff and Easter eggs. I got the Human koopa Unlock thing, and the Blue/Red/YellowYoshi(s)

I think I was in 5th, I'm only 14 now and I can't remember the year Xbox came out so blah >_<. As for super mario, amazing game. I think my bro took it to college with him though :-( (we had 2 SNES)

i still have a SNES and the game, but people are now hacking the rom using a program called Lunar Magic, it can view the levels and you can drag and drop pieces of the level and modify it to make your own.

I agree, Cuda. I love the game because there are so many hidden things. Like the "Top Secret Area" in the second valley, where you can get flying power, fire power, and a Yoshi.

I don't have an SNES, but I remember back when I did. Fun times, though I wasn't old enough to really appreciate it.

i play mario 3 everyday almost on my super nintendo i have mario allstars. i like mario lost levels the best though, it gets really hard after you beat it all the way through like 3 times cause they make the enemies faster more of them and chunks of the levels are missing so you could just fall to your death all the time.

I pwn all ur sytems ready for the list? (no word of a lie)
1 Normal Nintendo
2 SNES (1 mine 1 my bro)
1 Genesis
1 N64
1 PS1
5! PS2 (1 mine, 1 my bro's (slim), 1 my dad's, 1 broken slim, 1 broken normal)(both broken are my bro's :P)
2 xbox's (1 modded, 1 XBL)
1 Gamecube (bro's)
1 Pre Ordered PS3 ;)

No 360 yet tho...

my Nintendo, SNES,Genesis and N64 are all useless to me cuz i got the big ass emulator disc (multiple emulators for xbox, all the games for each system) And I've Gathered Most of the N64 games in rom form for surreal 64 on teh box)

yea it pwns..

[/arrogant brag]

P.S. The only ones my parents bought were the nintendo, Genesis and N64. Rest were bought from paper route money and part time job's ;) Brother is in the army and hes got a ton of cash and he can't buy anything cuz he's not allowed to have much of anything so he pre-ordered the PS3 for me :D :D

Back to the game...what are your favorite levels? Describe the level and tell how you like it.

I wish they would release a new Super Mario World for SNES...EXACTLY like the original, but with newer, harder levels. Same 1-bit design.

I freaking LOVE that game. So much sentimental value is attatched to it.

(offtopic: Anrgry Man, this isnt a stupid xbox fanboy suggestion, this is just a suggestion. Don't get the PS3 just yet, too many bugs still.)

Me and my brother would play that on a dayly basis when we were kids... so fun :(
