Whats in my player

Post by jks »

Audioslave - the new CD Revelations just came out, awesome album.
Senses Fail - their new album Still Searching comes out on the 10th, this is the only band good enough to make me actually buy the CD, which I will be getting, but I "procured" an advance copy because I needed to hear it
Dream Theater - probably one of my top 3 if not #2 behind SF
In Flames - still very good
Hoobastank - new CD out
Breaking Benjamin - new CD out
Stratovarius - listening to a few songs reminded me of how good this group is, top 5 definitely, SERIOUS talent

Post what you've been listening to.

Bit of Alt.

Bit of Punk

Bit of Techno

I don't listen to specific bands and even if I do they are old (Holiday, Smells like teen spirit).

The Crystal Method
Dabrye (Hyped Up Plus Tax is the only song I like by him)
The Killers
Oasis

Last but definately not least:
Gogol Bordello - They sound kind of like System of a Down, the lead singer is a Ukrainian refugee and has an awesom Eastern European accent - plus they have an accordion, which is automatically awesome.

What are you trying to say? That Newer Music Hasn't created anything new, original, and/or anything of quality, and Just either Mixes, Samples, remixes, or Parodies older music?
If it is, I'd have to agree.
