About a month ago i got fired from my job at KFC, for calling in saying that i couldn't come in because of a personal family issue. so i sent out a few emails. I just got a call from the KFC head office and they told me that i had my job back and that we'll have to teach evelyn (my boss) some managerial skills.
so not only did i get my job back but i got my boss in shit aswell

Haha, amazing. It's not right for someone(or a company or anyone) to take your job away, because of a very important family issue. That's ridiculous. But, I'm happy you got your job back

KFC always reminds me of this Jim Gaffigan joke:
Jim Gaffigan wrote:Ever eat fast food in front of a vegetarian? They look at you like you're barbecueing a kitten. "Oh my God, you're eating that?!?!"
"Yeah, and I won't digest it for 10 years."
"Do you know what they do to those chickens?"
"No, but it's delicious." Don't get me wrong, I love animals, I just love to eat them more. Fun to pet, better to chew.
Anyways, Phenom, I want some Popcorn chicken. Now. Chop-chop!

A company/employer should never fire anyone unless they are forced to due to financial issues or they did something wrong. Taking leave because of family issues is neither.

An Employer has a right to fire a person due to incompetance at his current Aassignment in the workplace. I dont know what personal Family issue could arrise from pushing a mop, or unfreezing chicken can be.

I'm not saying that they
can't fire them if they've done nothing wrong. They can fire whoever the hell they want. It's their company.
I just wrote:A company/employer should never fire anyone unless they are forced to due to financial issues or they did something wrong. Taking leave because of family issues is neither.

Dissappearing for some time is still an issue. I doubt KFC has Vacation days for younger employees, so he's Truant from his post.

Nice one Phenom.
If someone has personal family issues, they're just that... and they shouldn't be made to feel like they were doing something wrong, the boss should, for firing them.

My ex worked at KFC, she hated it. They always kept her in like 2 hours late and it was just generally an awful job.

I remember that one night when Pheno and I were talking on AIM about some of KFC's recipes. He told me how they make craklin' and popcorn chicken.
