Save Stargate SG-1

First off: How the hell is there not already a post on this!?

Second:

SciFi Channel has canceled Stargate SG-1, which is currently in its tenth season.
Though MGM will continue the show it will no longer be shown in the US and most likely won't even be shown on the many networks in other countries.
Many people have developed different plans-of-action to take against SciFi, the most popular it seems is to write "Send more SG-1" on Kleenex boxes and mail then to NBC Universal (who own SciFi). I plan on doing this as soon as I get a Kleenex box.
Another plan is just standard petitions, but I don't know what that's going to do to help.
And as always, I have a radical solution:
Using donations from viewers, we can set up our own cable network in the US and get the rights to SG-1 from MGM. The network constantly show SG-1 reruns and paid advertisements while showing the new episodes on Friday nights. Now, yes, I know it's a radical and almost impossible solution, but who wouldn't want a network dedicated to Stargate?

So, let me just leave it at this: The show will die if we can't stop SciFi, so either help out with this cause or donate to moving SG-1 to another station.

Sci Fi has so many crappy shows... Stargate and BSG are probably the only things worth watching on there... barely anybody would watch it anymore

eh..stargate is like a space thing right..i never watch those kinda series becuse they usually always get cut =)

I love SG1, SGA, BSG, Eureka, and others.

I hate to see SG1 stopping, but it's writing has gone down-hill recently. After a few seasons, a sci-fi show developes its own set of pseudo-physics. Over the last few episodes, the writers have been breaking a number of previously established "rules". Example: The Goa'uld voice. Up until last season, it had been pretty well established that while a goa'uld controlled human could talk with a normal voice, it was easier for them to talk with that special voice. Then, last season, suddenly that one fat guy says that they don't have to talk that way, and they stop using that effect.

EDIT:
I've designed a t-shirt with those sites on the back and "SAVE STARGATE SG-1" allong with an active gate on the front.
If I get enough people who want them, I'll be buying them bulk for around $5-8 each (depending on how many people want them)
The shirt is white with black text.
It is made of cotton and comes in adult medium (if you want a different size, just let me know)
I will only get them if enough people want them
