for those of you who havnt heard of bryce, its an abstract 3D landscape modelling tool.

for those of you who have heard of BRYCE/ used it; i was wondering if you could use this as a halo mapping program.

I don't think so. Bryce is more similar to Terragen, where it creates landscapes and not the kind of mapping terrain you'd see in Halo. But you can try it out. It might work.

you could probably use it for the base of the map, and then go in 3ds or something else and add everything else.

Prodominitely for re-modeling, I would recommend 3ds or gmax for making the maps.

yeah sorry. ive never used milkshape, so i was just throwing ou that as a name. gmax is a great start if you think you might be interested in modeling, then once you get the hang of it dl the trial for 3ds and evaluate whether you would want to buy it or not.
