Im getting a new laptop and im wondering is an AMD Turion 64 Mobie Technology Processor good? ive never had one so i need help.

AMD > Intels for mobile power Intel > AMD for power management and life.

so all the games that i can run with a intel i can run with an AMD but better?
i know im being annoying but i dont want to shell out 1000$ for something that i dont know is good so i nned to make shure its good

Yes, AMD is lightyears ahead of Intel in terms of power and game play.

Actually, according to PC magazine, the latest "Intel Core Duo" surpasses the fastest AMD. :(

I still prefer AMD.

The intel core duo is more powerful, but I suspect thats about to change, AMD has always been on top.

Intel Overclock their processores to the max to be compared to the AMD once.

If anyone remembers the japanese kid that overclocked a processor to 7 ghz it was done on a FX-57 :wink:

i heard about that somewhere, and he had to use something like liquid nitrogen (or some other F*ckin cold liquid) to cool it.

AMD has always been better than intel, always will. Their processors are not only good for games, but there good for everything. The only reason Intel may be a bigger company is because the a lot of people aren't tech savvy.

He couldn't clock an intel processor to 7 ghz without running his pc in the couldest part of the universe.

He used an injected liquid nitrogen cooling system and it was only at that speed for 14 seconds, he did it.

Oh so sorry... P4 :roll: but an FX-57 would go faster than that.
