(Or any similar thing)
-Dont Tape it saughter it.
-Make sure you wrap the spots you saughtered with electrial tape.Yes not other tape.

You plug it into a USB port and download the software for it.

oh I didn't read all of the posts

, but I think I've gotten halo PC to have the normal X button, you just set it to action and leave the rest you want to use for X blank.

i'd use my n64 controller for my emulators if i could find a spare one and instructions on splicing it into a usb port that doesn't involve breadboard.

you sure about the 360 controller? I used it at work for NFSMW and it was basically plug & Play. Also, you can pop off that USB port and inside is a controller port

is there anyway you can use the wireless 360 controller? i would have thought through the play and charge kit, but...

Maestro you would have to open the wireless reciever and you should see the wires.

That would require opening the 360 up, though.
Not to mention, for Halo, it isn't really worth it because you don't get the pressure sensitivity with moving. Stupid Halo. Someone needs to find out how to fix that. Someone with godlike HEX powers...

Right I forgot on the old xbox you have to attach the adapter.WTF is pressure sensitivity?

If you move the stick even half a millimeter forward, you'll walk forward at full speed. Halo doesn't support for pressure sensitive motion, only rotation supports it and that's because it kinda has to.
Pressure sensitivity refers to how you move slowly when you don't push the stick forward very much, but you move quickly when you push it all the way. Even the buttons on the Xbox have pressure sensitivity, but the drivers don't support it (not that we'd need it anyway). However, it would be nice and would help a few bugs with movement if we had it in Halo.
[offtopic]Weird... 'kinda' is in Firefox's dictionary, but Firefox isn't.[/offtopic]
