the Nintendo Wii (was called Nintendo Revolution) is gonna be awesome when it comes out, mostly because the wireless controller and games that arent all cartoony. if you dont know what it is just go to nintendo's website. theres this game "red steel" that looks pretty cool, its a gun game and you can use the Wii's wireless controller as a sword . other games like project h.a.m.m.e.r. and metroid prime and excite truck and some zelda game and a lot of others. pretty much every game thats coming out for Wii besides rayman raving rabbids looks good. what do you think about it
what i know about the price is, is that it is cheaper than the xbox 360 and around half the price of PS3. some other games theyre making for it are wii sports, some wario ware game, and super mario galaxy

Two words: Red Steel. That game is going to redefine the FPS genre.
I might buy one, I have tons of money in the bank from my summer job, but I'm going to buy a MacBook Pro, so we'll see how much money I have leftover. However if I get a next-gen console, this will be it.
I'm not paying for a console JUST to play one game. If I'm getting a console, it's going to be an xbox 360 next summer, for Halo 3 and all the games I've been wanting to play between now and then.
What, Kirk, you dont't wanna have any excersize where you do backbreaking digital work? I mean "STONE LIFTER" and "THING PUSHER" and "STICK SWINGER" look awesome!
if the PS3 is gonna be like $1000 and 360 has hardly any games i want, and there are several games i liked for the nintendo, id go with Wii - supposed to be like $200 and can DL any game from past systems including Turbo Grafiz and the Atari i think
True, PC is the greatest gaming platform out there. While the Wii Nunchuk controller is innovative, no console will ever beat the greatest controller of all time: a keyboard and mouse.

Not only that, but with consoles they have to stick with certain requirements until they come out with a whole new console. With PC, the technology is constantly getting better, so they can just hope that their customers will have the requirements, and even if you don't, you can always upgrade. The only advantage I see that consoles have over the PC, is that they build the games for a specific console, so people don't have to worry about system requirements like they do for PC. That is all.

Exactly, consoles will have better graphics for a year and a half tops, then PC's will overtake them and rule until the next generation.
Not to mention, They can say "Well, You cant Play Certain games on a Keyboard" But luckily, most companies make imitation Controllers Modelled after console controllers, so they might make a Wii controller for your PC.
