if you're looking for free webspace, my personal favorite is http://www.100webspace.com/
They have a nice little free package that includes PHP and CGI, and gives you 100MB.

the only ad is a single banner ad at the top, and I wouldn't be to worried about mods being classified as hacking. While the term hacking is used loosely to describe certain types of modding, web-space providing sites usually are referring to the crack-into-other-peoples-computer-and-websites definition of hacking.

trust me, just learn html. it takes only a few minutes to get down the basics, probably 10-15 on average. besides, WYSIWYG editors bloat code and can create security holes.

for WYSIWYG editors, there' microsoft frontpage and adobe dreamweaver, but i believe you'd have to buy those. another reason i prefer to stick with notepad and hand-coding html.
ASPARTAME: in your diet soda and artificial sweeteners. also, it's obviously completely safe. it's not like it will cause tumors or anything. >.>
