last.fm is a website where you can share your musical tastes and find more music that is similar to the stuff you already have. Its pretty sweet.

Its a radio thing is all I know.

Its a radio thing where you tell the system what you've played through plugin and it finds people with similar tastes and what they listened to. works both ways.
