Before I ask, heres a few major events that happened in the year 1006:
In the year 1006 AD there was a major eruption of Merapi (in Indonesia).
In spring 1006 A.D., medieval people living sufficiently south were surprised by the brightest "new star" ever recorded in historic times. Although its exact position could only be figured out recently by finding its nebulous remnant, it was recorded by observers (often astrologers) in Europe, China, Japan, Egypt and Iraq, to have occurred near the star Beta Lupi, on the border to Centaurus. Chinese astrologers apparently has trouble in finding its "omen category", according to Burnham.
The supernova was probably seen first on April 30, 1006, according to records from the Far East (China and Japan). It was of apparently yellow color. It was visible for over a year, which indicates that the supernova was probably of type II.
Heres a report on the supernova:

So heres the question, do you think that the world will end on June 6th, 2006?
My answer would be "No" If the world is supposed to end on 6/6/06 then wouldnt the world be....ended right now? Because of June 6th, 1006? I think its pretty cool that Ill be able to know that this wont happen for another thousand years, but no I dont think the devil or god will come to earth and destroy us all, or that some freak event will happen that will destroy the world, its a stupid statement.
Who knows, maybe it will end on June 6th, 3006, or June 6th, 4006, or June 6th, 5006. OR WAIT! June 6th, 6006. OMG 3 SIXES ON June 6th, 6006 Oh to the noes! lmfao jk, but anways, state your oppinion.
And no flaming
