Im not sure if I should... So Far, with a WD-40 tube, I was able to extend the spray from 12 in. to about 17in. in no wind.
EDIT: wes, if you want, I can tell you over MSN.

You should fill the can with some sort of flammable liquid that flames when the pressure on the cap hits the fluid, so it would be like a real flamethrower.

a real flamethrower uses liquid gas and has a pilot light like a stove.

this is basicly the same thing.I get a stick lighter to provide the pilot light, and the Axe as the fuel.

Looks like a spray bottle with an axe attachment O_o nice. I could send you the plans I made to make a BIC lighter go whenever you pull the trigger, I used it on my gasoline+super soaker flamethrower.

Ok I tested it. Has a nice flame, but the problem is, the stick Butane lighter cant hold a light once the spray hits it. Any suggestions?

Looks like fun but I wouldn't go out of the way to make or buy one.

My project cost less than 10 bucks. To be honest, I really didnt set out to make one. I was playing some CE, and entered the tunnel with the flamethrower. and it gave me an idea.next thing I know, I got a rig set up and tested.

maybe the reason is because axe is too moist. try using something else, like foot locker boot protector spray/leather spray

you may want to try something with more aerosol in it like hairspray works 20 time better then axe does

Don't put the flame of the lighter directly in front of the spray, instead get the flame as close to the base of the spray as possible and only have the tip of the flame touch the spray, if you get what I mean.

Too much Aerosol kills ozone. So I use small portions to lessen the depletion
Well, Im off to bed after I post a few more times. Ill have to try that out tomorrow jks. Ill post results here later.

Actually if you burn all the aerosol that comes out, it doesnt matter, all combustion reactions are the following:
(Hydrocarbon, or in this case aerosol) + O2 --> H2O + CO2
So all burned substances turn into carbon dioxide and water.

Agreed. No matter what spray you're using, you will plug it into the combustion formula and it will always yield the same things.

More modifications added. For the hell of it, I modified the safety already on the sprayer, Trimmed the nub off a bit more, but I cant get the WD-40 tip to fit the Axe tip. any suggestions?
