I just went to an Avenged Sevenfold concert, it was so freaking awsome. I was just wondering, who here likes Avenged Sevenfold?

I got a picture and a small video of the concert on my phone But there were a lot of straight edgers wearing sharp things to hurt people with so i have a lot of cuts on my arm and now i look emo :\

(there was a lot of emos too)

Aren't they an Emo band?

Actually I just found out about them and I really want to go to one of their concerts. I haven't liked a band this much since Senses Fail, and I'm, in fact, listening to their CD right now

The only song by them that I've heard is Bat Country, which I really like. But I don't really like the band in general, just that song.

Coheed is not emo, trust me I am one myself and I know this, A7X is one of the most emo bands I've seen in a while.

Coheed is screamo.

Besides, since when do emo bands break out in freaking guitar solos and play riffs like iron maiden and kinda sorta sound like metallica sometimes? So, basically, A7X isnt emo, they may look emo, but i dont listen to bands because they look cool, i listen to bands for sound. Thier first album Waking the Fallen was kinda screamo but they changed in thier second album.

So, guys, dont call them emo if you havent listened to any of thier new stuff, like i said, looks are nothing. If they want to dress straight edge/emo, let them, i dont give a damn.

And if you guys think they are emo, i dont care, fine, i listen to emo if A7X is. But do keep in mind my name is "Multi-Genre" Meaning i listen to a varitety of genres of music mmkay.

They dont sing about death, or how much life sucks, or cutting themselves like other emo bands do, the band before A7X had songs about how much life sucked and they even had a song called razor And all they did was sing in thier shaky voices and jump. And it seemed the guitarist was only playing two cords the whole freaking time.

You have definitions all wrong, Coheed is anything but emo, I would even put them in alternative rock. A7X is emo in looks, but they're sound is completely different from any other emo band I've ever heard which is why I like them so much. You don't have to be a cutter, singing about death and depressed to be emo, I'm emo and I wear normal clothes, tight clothes like girl pants, and stuff but I don't cut or anything.

Ok, so all emo is then is depressing alternative rock, or just really annoying alternative.

not just emos where tight cloths. I do and im not emo im into more like grunge/metal i used to skateboard and i play guitar. so i dont want to be looked at like im emo.
