Okay, the purpose of this topic is to see which next-gen console is best. Which is best: Xbox 360, Nintendo Revolution, or Sony PS3?

UPDATED TO SHOW PERKS AND FLAWS

Console features:
Xbox 360- Pros New and improved Xbox live, Quasi backward compatibility, more computer like interface, USB ports, wireless controllers, removable hard drives, customisible face plates , next Halo games, and it's already out.
Cons: Factories ran out. Video bugs. 20GB Hard drive only, and no Halo 3 yet.

PS3- Pros: Super fast processor, backward compatiblity, free internet , I foget the rest. EDIT #2: PS3 equiped with removable hard drives too.
Cons:Technical issues, delayed, Ugly boomrang controller that stabs people, no Halo 3.

"Wii"- Pros- DOWNLOAD ANY GAME MADE BY NINTENDO OF THE INTERNET!! (fees will apply) , Remotes for controllers (comes in serveral colors, motion sensor, and accessories for yor remote, yay.) variety of colors for the console, online gaming, and other features I do not know about or forgot. One of the most realistic gameplayes with the remote.
Cons- Not out yet, takes time to learn how to use remote, and crappy name that can be used as a vulgarity.

EDIT: You don't have to look up the features on the internet, you can post which you think is best out of your opinion.

They need wheels. I swear, these people havent caught on. Video game consoles need wheels. I say the Revolution.

Yay for the Revolution

360, just out of spite for the PS3 and the fact Nintendo games tend not to change at all, so they get boring. Besides, that, Xbox owned the PS2.

Screw it, I'll list why.

1. The 360 is out, and it works. The PS3 is being delayed repeatedly for issues with its supposedly superior technology.
2. The 360 has Halo and Halo 2, and will have any other Halo games Bungie intend to make. PS3 will never have the Halo series, which in my opinion causes it to become an overpriced, fancy, box.
3. The 360 is far less expensive.
4. As a general rule, the Xbox has more good games than the PS. The few good games on PS2 were ported to Xbox and/or PC anyway, and a shitload of crap doesn't even come close to a bit of good.
5. The 360 controllers, similar to those of the original Xbox, have a logical layout and actually fit in my hands. Just looking at the PS3 controller gives my fingers cramps.
6. Far as I'm concerned, the 360 looks cooler than the PS3.
7. Well known fact: Xbox Live > PS "network play".
8. I don't care what kind of huge numbers and big words Sony shove down my throat, half of that shit never turns out to be in the end product. Look at the list of features promised by any game developer, and then those that actually got put in. Not proposed features, ones the developer stated with apparent conviction WOULD be in the finished game. The amount of crap cut out depends on developer, better ones tend to only drop a few things, but nevertheless something, or many things, will get left out. Like growing trees in Fable. I see no growing trees in the final game. Or MC being able to shoot out lights all Sam Fisher-like in Halo 2, only to be hunted down by Elites and Grunts with torches. Doesn't happen in Halo 2, does it?

No, I see no reason PS3 will be the amazing piece of high-tech awesomeness so many people are convinced it will be, because if it's anything like the PS2, it will be totally and utterly inferior in every respect. I'm sticking with Micro$oft on this one.

Yes, somebody noticed all things that made the Xbox better than the PS2, and the things that make the XBOX 360 better than the PS3! But still say what you think is better, don't argue.

1. PS3 isn't out
2. Revolution isn't out
3. Few games have been announced for either
4. The "Major Nelson" report about XBOX360 v. PS3 has proven to be both biased, old, and mostly speculation

Those points aside, the revolution supposedly is about as tech heavy as the current XBOX, which isn't bad at all considering it's going for improving the basics of gaming instead of just raising processing speeds and graphics. Nintendo licensed games have continually shown their ingenuity and replay value too, they have many long lasting franchises like Mario, Zelda, etc. Red Steel looks like it will be amazing. And old school games are ++
Plus the price isn't going to be rigoddamndiculous. It looks like a slimline PS2 too.

XBOX360 is showing that they don't have to rely on a bagillion FPS's but still have that stigma, thank god for oblivion. But they lack some of the more creative and fun games and go for the high production formulaic FPS games and EA crap that they vomit up every second. It's also supposedly cheaper than the PS3, which is ++. It's also considerably uglier than all the other next gen consoles. Also it debuted with some major problems but I'm sure those have been fixed in newer models.

PS3 is the most superior, hardware wise. It has arguably the best third party game companies, including many different genres and games based in different countries. It's free internet (I don't get why I should pay someone to basically ORGANIZE internet play. I don't pay for game lobbies on the PC. =/ )! It's uber expensive though, projected at $500-600 last time I looked. And I'm fairly certain that the boomerang isn't going to stay. It also looks like a larger but fancier answering machine. It's said to be almost exactly as big as the xbox360.

Overrall for me:
#1.Revolution - affordable and totally neato
#2.PS3 - only beats xbox360 for being hardware-wise better and having better 3rd party games. Other than that the price is absurd.
#3.Xbox360 - Has Oblivion and Halo 3. Only reasons for me to get it, and thus not quite worth the $300-400 price tag.

Based on my experience with the current generation of each console i would have to list them in this order:

1: X360: first off, it's out, supports the games i like, has a good controller, and didn't get an inflated price, i have an XBOX and if i get a next-gen, it will be the 360

2: PS3: Promised specs look nice, but it is way the hell out of my price range, and i don't know what i'd do with a wireless boomerang beside put an edge on it and decapitate the first whiny n00b i see.

3: Revolution: Looks nice, but besides that almost nothing is officially known about it. that and nintendo lsot their way with the game cube when they couldn't make a game for wnyone older than five. And is it just me, or does anyone else find it odd that nintendo worked so hard to take out Sega and then bought the rights to their main character/game (Sonic) ?

Mabye they wanted a Sonic vs. Mario game? If you ask me, the Xbox 360 is best.

Well, I didn't know the PS3 had removable Hard Drives, but the boomarang controllers I knew it had and I said it did (wireless boomarang).

I'm willing to bet that they are going to change the controller design before release, no one in their right mind would release something so ugly.

The controller of PS3 looks ugly and stupid, I don't think it will do well, as for the Revolution, it's controller is cool.

dude, how about just get the N64, and just jack it up on 'roids. Make it the most killer system ever... The GC was a flop, why not go to their roots, and blow them out of the water with some awesome looking N64...

Why don't they just re-release N64 period. That was the best all around system ever in my opinion. It had the most breakthroughs of every game genre there is (aside from the comp with pong).
