Song Name

Post by RaVNzCRoFT »

I'm sorry if this isn't very specific at all, but I'd really like to know the name of this song. I've heard it on the radio a few times, so I'm assuming it's pretty popular. It sounds pretty reggae-ish. Nothing like hard rock, it's soft and light. It's really fast, and the singer sings it really quickly, so I can't really understand any of the words. That's why I couldn't find the name of the song. I can take a guess and say it's Matisyahu, but that's just an absolute guess. If you really want to help me out, you can IM me and I'll hum it for you. Once again, I know this isn't specific, but I'd really like to know the name.

Matisyahu is an Orthodox Jewish raggae rapper. He just had a new album released on March 7th, the song played often on the radio is probably 'King Without a Crown.'

No, I know it's not "King Without A Crown," because I downloaded that song, and it wasn't it. I'm not sure about any lyrics, but I MIGHT have heard the words "No matter what you..." Something like that. But I'm not even sure if those are the right words. This is killing me. Anyone want to take this to IM?

I wish Matisyahu was from Jamaica. He wouldn't be taken seriously at all. There's plenty of much better reggae artists around and they're being shadowed by a less than mediocre artist with a gimmick. Grr.

That's probably true but Matisyahu is still very good. At least in my opinion.

Good, someone agrees. I remember seeing a commercial for this "Matisyahu" I fell off my chair and started laughing.

I agree completely; people say Matisyahu is a reggae/rap singer, but that's not at all true. It's just reggae, without a trace of rap.

Listen to the two songs at his MySpace. They're not rap at all. http://www.myspace.com/matisyahu

hahha, I wouldn't say that becuase you havent heard all what you would call rap. Some rap is not really like all rap and is a different kind of music just with the same style of saying the stuff.

I'd know Rap. I go to an Intercity school, where some successful rappers came out of, Like Snoop Dogg, and Warren G. I still hate it. Only reason Matisyahu is popular is, Hes Jewish, and hes Different.
