Which should I get....

Post by Cuda »

Well, I came up with some money recently, and I wanted to get some Kind of 3D/gfx software. Since I already got CS2, I dont need a new photoshop.

I was thinking Cool3d( the one I used to make the Spinny avatar things, and the gold chain[which I didnt post on this site :P ] but its a trial thats gonna die soon.)

3DS Max 8

or

C4D.

I think it depends on what you're going to do. For heavy animation/game development I think 3DS Max is the industry standard. But for more art/graphic design stuff I think C4D is better.

I like C4D, it seems to be pretty good but I haven't used 3DS Max either, if you could get Max 8 I might say go with that but still. I'm not sure about 3DS Max but I know C4D has the ability to make movies which is cool.
