I think it looks promising. I'm not one to say that I'm necessarily a 'Nintendo fan.' But I do love the games, I just dug out my Gamecube from all my stuff and played Mario Kart: Double Dash!! and remembered how fun those games are.

Thats just it. The Nintendo systems are pretty much intended for little kids these days. I heard that the Revolution is going to have a sweet controller though.

I heard [it may be the Revolution or an upcoming Nintendo system] that you basically hold the controller like a remote, and you move it. It's sensitive to air, so moving it as the air hits against it can help you steer cars and things of the sort.

that looks like you are playing an old school system with a joystick for a controller, and holding the remote for the tv to switch to your favorite shows while the game takes five minutes to load >.>

You thought the controller was bad? Take a look at its technical specifications... or atleast what Nintendo says about them.

This thing is not going to support HD... and is about as powerful as a pentium 2.
They appearently are trying to keep the price below $150.
This is just another milestone in the road to the death of Nintendo.

Nintendo needs to relieze when its over. Its time was in 1996 with Zelda and Goldeneye, and that weird game with the bear and bird! BANJO KAZOOIE! thats it! Its over for them, so why dont we all just go back to our 360s, PS3s, and dust a little off of our n64 and Ocurina of Time and just be happy! Stop the suffering

btw this is hunk re saying this)))) but anyways i thinks that overall its is going to take time for ppl to get used to and like sorta like the nds well anyways nintendo is just trying to comeout with a breakthrough idea noone has done before and not be so generic yes the sytem will probably bomb out but what if it is actually a revoultion and we all begin to like it besides the graphics processor is going to suck like you said but the system is not about power if you read game devoleper magazine you would no that the makers of nintendo and atari games are useing a new system in game rendering it is combined with the revolution to form a new sytem called decubing that is why there is no hd support basically what theve done is broke down the cubic pixels shaved a few corners and converted the cubes into spheres alloweing for rounder edges and smoother corners giveing the overall effect of more polygons per character and more beutiful looking graphics overall this system is not about amazing ness or whatever it is about creativeity and revolution and well that is what it is... plus it is backwords compatible for all nintendo system which is a great deal better then buying a gbs, gba, nds, nes,gc,super nes,n64 ect it might go back to atari even but im not sure basically it will be a good system worth buying since it will be less expensive aand maybe not as powerful hardware but its all differnt and its not about the hardware its the new ideas and software comeing out
(yah i know thats alot but hell im getting one it'll be cheap and well worth checking out)

Well, the stuff they got around is mostly speculations. Nintendo revealed it at TGS '05 as most of you should know, But I think it's pretty cool that theyre mixing it up a little. I hope this little revolution does better than the GC. But you know what that controller would be good for?? NUN CHUCKS!!
